Dune: Book vs Movie - Which version told the story better?

Discussing
Dune
by Frank Herbert
After watching Dune Part Two, I went back to read the original novel. While the movies are visually stunning, I feel like Herbert's depth of world-building gets somewhat lost.
Things the movie did better: - Visual representation of the sandworms - The scale of Arrakis - Action sequences - Making complex politics accessible
Things the book did better: - Inner monologues and character depth - The Bene Gesserit training details - Political intrigue complexity - Paul's prescience and its burden
What do you think? Can a movie ever capture the full essence of such a complex novel?
